We share educational resources and provide community outreach to raise awareness about dementia, helping others better understand memory loss and how to meaningfully support and communicate with those affected.
Engaging elementary school students through fun, hands-on activities and card-making for assisted living facility residents, we introduce the importance of how to compassionately care for others. Students learn how small acts of kindness can brighten someone’s day and make a difference in their community.
Many individuals living with dementia also receive hospice care. We share birthday and holiday cards with hospice patients, offering thoughtful messages of kindness, comfort, and connection throughout the year.
We bring flower arranging to facilities across our chapters, creating opportunity for connection, creativity, and joy for individuals living with memory loss while helping volunteers learn to communicate and connect with meaning and compassion.
